DESTINATION MANAGEMENT PLAN
With our colleagues at TRC Tourism (see our strategic partners) we put sustainability at the heart of the Northern Beaches’ DMP. It means rethinking ‘growth’ to map out an even more sustainable future for the visitor economy and helping to infuse a greater sense of vibrancy into everyday living.

TWO-YEAR VISITOR ECONOMY RECOVERY PLAN (COVID-19) 2020-2022
There is little doubt that COVID-19 threw a proverbial spanner in the works. As a result, we drew on our access to the latest global and domestic tourism trends and worked closely with NBC staff to map out the most immediate and medium-term priorities to lead the region to recovery and revitalise the visitor economy.

STRATEGIC RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE DIGITAL & ONLINE PRESENCE OF DESTINATION NORTHERN BEACHES
Before embarking on a destination campaign, it’s always critical to make sure the destination’s ‘owned assets’, including its website and digital presence are up to the all-important task of acting as the Call to Action. As part of our review process, we undertook a deep dive to identify the most critical issues to address to ensure the Northern Beaches has the best chance of being noticed and set for success.

REVIEW THE DESTINATION MANAGEMENT PLAN – PRIORITISED ACTION PLAN TO RESPOND TO COVID-19
There was a pressing need to review the draft DMP Action Plan to reassess longer-term priorities within a new and challenging context. This was key to identifying the projects, partnerships and resources (human and financial) that will underpin the Council’s commitment to a sustainable visitor economy.
